The WLD Sensing Cable Type B detects even a few drops of water along entire length of the sensing cable (max 185m). In case of water flooding, time matters – early warning can save significant costs. In case of water leakage every minute counts. Long-term reliability of whole system is essential.

The WLD Sensing Cable Type B is a cable-based sensor for detecting the presence of conductive liquids. Detection occurs along the entire cable length, so even a few drops entering the zone trigger early warning.
With its smaller diameter, WLD sensing cable B is thinner and dries faster (for re-use) than Type A. Both Type A and Type B use the same 2-pin locking connector and can be combined within a single WLD zone.
The WLD sensing cable is the essential component of the WLD system, it is connected to the “WLD zone” input on LAN, LTE or KNX connected device.
Cable features:
WLD sensing cable Type B is not limited by any bending radius. The sensing cable can be knotted and still works properly. Therefore the installation is easy and can be done without special training. WLD sensing cable can be also installed after other electrical cables because movements caused by the movement of the surrounding cables do not cause false alarms.
Water detection functionality is not limited by point pressure within a reasonable range. The cable can be stepped on or pressed and will not send false alarms. It can also be routed under the door threshold.
WLD sensing cable Type B can be twisted as any other electrical cable.
